The Confessions of Georgia Nicolson

currently under construction while I reread the series

You can't talk about Georgia Nicolson without also talking about her author Louise Rennison, as Georgia is a character heavily inspired by Rennison's own youth.

Louise Rennison grew up in Leeds, in a council house that had three bedrooms shared between eight people. She attended an all-girls school from age eleven til fifteen, when her family moved to Wairakei in Aotearoa (New Zealand). While there, she had a daughter at the age of seventeen and gave her up for adoption. Eventually she moved back to the UK, to a small flat in Notting Hill, and enrolled in a Performing Arts course at the University of Brighton, following her dream to become an actor.
If you've read either of her book series, you can clearly see where she got her inspiration from.

Georgia Nicolson lives with her parents and younger sister Libby. They live in a three bedroom house, with their cat Angus.
